Michael Jackson Dead at 50

It’s still unofficial, and the no one has confirmed it yet. But TMZ is standing by it’s claim the that King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has passed away. He was 50.

Pop legend Michael Jackson is reported to have died of a heart attack after he was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles.

Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest earlier today, according to CNN and entertainment news website TMZ.com.

TMZ is now reporting he has died.

“We’ve just learned Michael Jackson has died,” TMZ said.

“Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive him.

“We’re told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back,” the entertainment website said.

All I can say is, wow. Double wow!

Jacko is like an icon for the 80’s generation. Starting out with his brothers in the Jackson Five, Michael carved his way into becoming legendary. To me and most of the kids I went to school with.

From what I’m reading, the paramedics tried to revive him with CPR when they arrived, but they got no response at all.

Wow again….

Michael was famous in my day for songs like:

Billie Jean
Thriller
Rock with You
Beat It
Man in the Mirror
Smooth Criminal

Of course, there were a truckload of other hits in the 80’s and after, but those are the tracks I remember him for. That and “Say, say, say”, with Paul McCartney.

You’ll be missed Mr. Jackson. You were a huge part of my teen years.
